Glassforms is a new collaborative project involving the music of one of my biggest influences and all-time favourite musicians, Philip Glass.
The project is a live piano and electronics rework of Glass pieces with the great pianist, Bruce Brubaker.
We've announced a few shows to date, Cité de la Musique in Paris (18 May), Barbican in London for the Sound Unbound festival (19 May), and Sonar festival in Barcelona (19 July).
We use new technology created by Alexander Randon to restructure melodies and create new patterns from the original form - a new angle on the world of Glass music, a combination of traditional and modern composition, a modulated authenticity.
