Aether plays on the beauty of fundamental natural forms - waves, surfaces, symmetries and surreal landscapes, as the building blocks and underlying structure of the world around us - a modern interpretation of the luminiferous aether.

The audience can walk around, underneath and fully explore the space as the light-field warps around them, playing on the connection between spatial and sonic structures, and our intrinsic emotional connection to fundamental natural form.

Lumiere is London's free light festival and Aether is situated at the Kings Cross site, near Granary Square.

Other installations look interesting, including Patrice Warrener’s 'The Light of the Spirit (Chapter 2)' at Westminster Abbey and Miguel Chevalier’s 'Origin of the World Bubble 2018', suspended above Oxford Circus.

Opening times: 5.30pm to 10.30pm

Location - Kings Cross, Granary Square:

West Handyside Canopy

York Way
